Welcome to my "Sunny Larson Tells All" blog

I'll tell you right now....when I am on Facebook I have to hold myself back. All comments must be within 400 or so letters. You have no idea how many times I had to erase words. Not anymore.  I am so excited to share my days with everyone.....  I tell my kids all the time..." ITS HARD LIVING IN THIS BODY". After reading my blog you will agree with me...and probably tell me.. to lock myself up in a small room. To which..I will say.."I ALREADY TRIED THAT"...

You will also come to realize that I complain when it is justified and I give credit where it is due.

I wanted to start the blog a few days ago but we were having the outside of the house painted.  But let me go back a few months when we decided, that after ten years, the house needs painting outside again. The neighbors around us were all having the outside painted by the same company. The company is a family owned, we know the right way and the only way, painting company.  The son rang the door bell and started to give me the smiley, used car salesman sales pitch. "Yes...good morning mam..but we have been painting all the houses on your block. Here is my card."

I immediately thought..poor sucker...no one warned him. I said, "keep the card...I don't like the pepto bismal pink that you painted next door. It doesn't go with the brown roof. And I met your dad..because he rang my door bell last week...and I don't care for his suggestion on MY house. Red Trim...is he nuts???"
He said,"Oh dad gets carried away with his decorating ability."
To that, I replied..."Trust me...your dad has no decorating ability."  But he just would not let it go....so I brought up the pink house again. Everyone in the neighborhood agrees it is awful..... and because we told him it is awful he repainted it the same pink....
"We can't control the colors people want..we only make suggestions" he said..
I gave him.."I'll think about it." Just so I could close the door.

So we asked Ryan...who remodeled the inside of the house if he wanted the job.  BINGO... and it was great having him back and his helper.  I had muffins for them in the morning and sandwiches at noon...  I think we will have Ryan back to do the garage floor...  The last time I painted the garage floor..another marriage..another state...another house.....was the LAST time.  Painting over bugs is not a good idea...

Moving along today.... I need ink for my printer....expensive purchase....who would have thought ink??...do they sell it by the barrel???...crude that is... Its more expensive than oil and it looks the same...AND

I must mail my ballots...  ballots...plural...I filled mine out and then my husband's...we think alike on that issue....I think the election is this Tuesday....  I will be Telling All again next time....Sunny

The franchise chain "Cartridge World" sells refilled ink cartridges for a really good price. Maybe they have one near you?
